Nathan and Yuliana are the Head Students for the 2025/26 academic year, with Callum and Ruby as Deputy Head Students.
They will be supported by a team of Year 11 Prefects and Student Leaders from across Years 7 to 10.
If you aspire to be a Student Leader or Head Student one day, keep an eye out for future opportunities arising!

Do you want a say in how the school is run? Are you someone who wants to promote positive change whilst also gain ing invaluable leadership experience?
Well maybe you need to think about becoming a Student Leader...
What is a Student Leader?
Students who care about the school and want to be a part of a team that can promote positive change
Students who want to gain leadership experience
Students who want this experience to further themselves (college, part time jobs etc)
How will it run?
In years 7-10 we would like each form to nominate or vote in a student leader for each term (3 in total)
Students will take part in a Leadership Training Programme and then be awarded their red tie
Students will meet once a fortnight during form time
A group of selected students will meet with Mr Day regularly to discuss matters arising
What will the Student Leaders be doing?
Showcasing the school to visitors
Creating links and working with the community
Helping to promote the new SPA + (Enrichment programme)
Running charitable events
Supporting open evenings, prize giving etc
SUBJECT LEADER
Ever fancied getting more involved in your favourite subject? For example you could help run the D7 Art Gallery in the Art department? Working in the PE or even help with things like open evening, putting up displays and running competitions in your favourite department at SPA.
As well as becoming a Student Leader certain subjects at SPA offer you the chance to become a Subject Leader so remember to check the space below for subject opportunities... (And you get a snazzy badge too!)
Art Ambassador
Do you want to get more involved in the SPA Art dept? Keep an ear/eye out in art lessons for Art Leader opportunities.
Sports Captain
Speak to Mrs Perkins about applying to become a sports captain so you can get more involved in promoting a healthy lifestyle at SPA.
