Q. How secure is sevillemortage.ca?
A. VERY. Security remains the primary concern of online consumers. This site is hosted with Google and is covered by their strict security policies. All access to the site can be done over an encrypted SSL connection. The site is also regularly monitored to ensure it is free of malware. Q. Who are your lenders?
A. We deal with Canada's top lenders. sevillemortgage.ca is electronically linked to many of Canada's top banks, trust companies and credit unions – Bank of Montreal, TD Bank, Scotia Bank and First Heritage Credit Union just to name a few.
Q. Can I apply for a mortgage with a lender even if I'm not currently doing business with them?
A. Absolutely. Any of our lenders would be pleased to receive your application and to do business with you.
Q. What if my bank isn't one of your lenders?
A. If your financial institution isn't a participating lender, we will not be able to send an application to them. However, once you've explored the features and rates offered by our online lenders, we doubt you'll want to go anywhere else!
Q. If I choose a new lender for my mortgage, do I have to change my bank?
A. No. Most lenders do not require you to move your personal banking. You can continue to do business with your current bank.
Q. What if I don't qualify for the mortgage I need?
A. If you feel there are extenuating circumstances which would enable you to be qualified, contact one of our mortgage specialists directly so we can work on your application.
Q. By qualifying, am I committing myself to apply with a particular lender?
A. No. You are under no obligation to apply for a mortgage even if you qualify. Nor are you under any obligation to accept whatever mortgage terms a lender offers you after we send in your application.

Q. When will I get a reply?
A. Under normal circumstances, one of our mortgage specialists will contact you within one business day.
Q. May I apply for a mortgage on an income property?
A. Certainly. When you fill out your application, you will be asked to select the type of property. Simply indicate under 'Other' what the use of your property will be.
