BATB 2024

Lavynder Carter is playing Belle. She’s a sophomore and has been doing theater for five and a half years. She’s been in many previous productions such as Matilda Jr. (as Lavender), Field of Stars (as a Tory), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as one of our three narrators), and Sound of Music (as Louisa). She has always loved to sing and musical theater is her absolute favorite kind of music. She loves her solo songs, A Change in Me being her favorite. She’s really happy she gets to fulfill her dreams of being Belle. She strives to be the best Belle she can [and she’s doing great at it. You go Lavynder.].

Marty Grant is playing the role of the Beast. He's a junior. He was in Fiddler on the Roof.

Danny Newman is playing the role of Gaston. He’s a junior and has been doing theater for three years. He’s been in Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, Field of Stars, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Tracks, and the Sound of Music. He wants you to know, “i am the embodiment of pure chaos i will burn the world and rule over its ashes!” (Newman 2024). He also played the Son of Macduff in Mmmbeth.

Kenney Stott will be playing our hilarious Lefou. He’s a sophomore and has been doing theater for three years now. He’s been in the Music Man and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He loves to ride dirt bikes. He does cross country and soccer.

Alice Warren will be playing the bubbly Mrs. Potts. She’s a sophomore and has been doing theater for a long time now. She was in the Little Mermaid. She’s done various theater competitions [she even got asked to be a part of the Showcase at the Shakespeare Festival!], a few community productions, two acting camps, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Tracks. One of her favorite roles was a dancing rock in the Little Mermaid. She’s also currently learning German Longsword fencing with her father.

Michael Williams will be playing the role of Chip. He's a freshman.

Konner Chidester is Cogsworth. He’s a junior and this is his second year of theater. He hasn’t been in any previous productions. According to him, Cogsworth is “the perfect role because I cannot dance”(Chidester 2024).

Briggs Mullen will be playing Lumiere. He’s a sophomore and has been doing theater for four to five years. He’s been in Oklahoma (as a dancer), Fiddler on the Roof (Dancer), and the Little Mermaid. He’s loved dancing in previous musicals. This year he’s starting a new chapter in his theater career. He’s never done any acting or singing like this before. He said, “This completely unknown experience has been a rewarding experience as I learn more about theatre, music, and myself. This play has been an amazing experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world.” (Mullen 2024).

Ronald Livingston will be playing that crazy ol’ Maurice. He’s one of our juniors and has been doing theater for three years now. He was in our spring 2023 play, Tracks by Peter Tarsi. A fun fact about him, he knows how to play ten instruments. 

Raegan Swaney is playing our lovely, flirtatious Babette. She is a sophomore and has been doing theater for about four years now. She’s been in the Music Man and Jungle Book Kids. She’s also been in many smaller skits. Raegan is an aspiring actress. She hopes to go to UVU so she can work and perform at the Hale Center Theatre.

Lydia Anderson is playing the role of Madame De La Grande Bouche. She’s a junior and has been doing theater for about twelve years. She was in Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, Music Man, and the Sound of Music. She loves books, music, folding origami, and “any other odd hobbies I can pick up!” (Anderson 2024)

Tearin Jacobson plays the menacing role of Monsieur D’Arque. He’s a junior and this is his third year in theater. He was in Fiddler on the Roof. He’s really funny and he gets along with everyone.

Ashley Waters is playing our beautiful Enchantress. She's one of our awesome seniors and has been doing theater for [insert how ever many years]. She was in Oklahoma (ensemble), Mmmbeth (tech),  and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (baker). Fun fact about her, she's been apart of the Voices Unite Choir for four years now.

Savannah Saunders is one of our Enchantresses, she also fills in the role of the ensemble.

Brooklyn Stubbs is one of our Filles De La Ville. She’s one of our seniors! She’s been doing theater for 6 years now. She’s been in five previous productions: Hansel and Gretel (as Gretel), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (as Hermia), Oklahoma (As Kate, an extra), Fiddler on the Roof (As Golde), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as an ensemble member). She does tennis and track. She loves singing and dancing [she’s great at it too!]. She also loves spending time with her family and friends.

Leela Walser is another one of our lovely Filles De La Ville. She’s a junior and has been doing theater for three years. She’s been in two other productions, Fiddler on the Roof and Mmmbeth. She’s a Miss Sevier County volunteer. She’s doing a service project called Buddy Drive [show her some support!]. She’s also a member of our RHS Drill team. She also wants you to know that she’s been dancing for 13 years and had scoliosis back surgery in 2021.

Madalyn Stott is one of our Filles de la Ville. She is one of our lovely seniors and has been doing theater since she was in elementary school. She has been in many productions such as Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, Oklahoma, Fiddler on Roof, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She is the president of National Honor Society and is a member of the Governing Youth Council. She also takes and teaches piano lessons. She loves to sing and act.

Daisy Langston is one of our Filles de la Ville. She’s a freshman and this is her first year doing theater. She hasn’t been in any previous productions but that doesn’t stop her from doing well. She’s been passionate about singing for as long as she can remember.

Abigail  Graham is one of our Filles de la Villes.

Ian Jewkes plays one of our cronies. He’s a junior and this is his third year doing theater. He played the role of Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof. He plays guitar and piano.

Dylan McReynolds will be playing one of our two cronies! He’s a junior and has been doing theater for eight years. He’s been in many previous productions: A Field of Stars, Scrooge’s Christmas, Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Tracks. He enjoys drawing.

Chalee Dean is one of our four wolves. She’s one of our lovely seniors and has been doing theater for all four of her high school years. She was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She wants you to know that she’s [REDACTED] and does not exist.

Allie Williams is one of our four wolves. She's a sophomore.

Nico Jones is one of our four wolves. She’s a freshman and has been doing theater for four years. She was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She loves doing plays because her older siblings have done lots of plays.

Taylor Manygoats is one of our wolves. She’s a freshman and has been doing theater for three or four months. This is her first confirmed production. She played a card game called Yu-Gi-Oh. She wants you to know that “I tried my best to help as I can” (Manygoats 2024)

Tannah Malles-Butler is our gargoyle. She's a sophomore. She was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Anaya Begay is a member of our great ensemble. She’s a sophomore and this is her first year doing theater. She hasn’t been in any previous productions but that’s alright. She loves drawing, sharks, listening to music, and writing stories.

Aleah Jorgensen is an actress in our ensemble. She’s a junior and she’s been doing theater for three years. This is her first production. She wants to be an author but she also would love to become a movie star. She’s under five foot and has had a Tik Tok video liked by actress Dior Goodjohn.

Alayna Wells is a part of our ensemble. She’s a junior and has been doing theater for six years. She’s been in Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Tracks. She is our theater secretary. She’s enjoyed being in theater since she first joined a theater club in fifth grade. She loves doing art and making (and wearing) costumes.

Mae Sharp is our ensemble and is specifically our flower seller. She’s a freshman and this is her first year doing theater. She herself hasn’t been in any previous productions but her mother and sister were in the Sound of Music. She’s played piano for six years!

Carlyle Hunter plays the role of the bookseller. He’s a freshman and this is his first year. This is his first production. 

Kassie Christensen is in our ensemble. She is a freshman and this is her second year of theater. She was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Fun fact, she was born on Easter.

Elise Stubbs is a part of our ensemble. She is a freshman and this is her first year doing theater. She hasn’t been in a production before, despite that she’s great at her role. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She’s also enjoyed spending so much time with her fellow cast members.

Bre Hintze is part of our ensemble. She’ a sophomore and has been doing theater since her freshman year (a year ago). She was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Tracks. She’s part of our theater presidency as our graphic designer.

Ashlyn Avery is a part of our ensemble. She’s a sophomore. She’s unsure about how long she’s done theater. There are apparently no fun facts about her but I’m sure there’s something interesting about her.

Maddie Jones is apart of ensemble. She's a freshman.

Jaspri Olsen is in our ensemble. She is a freshman and this is her first year doing theater. This is also her first production.

Peyton Mecham is our stage manager. She’s helping with the stage and tech crew for this production. She’s one of our awesome seniors and has been doing theater for three and a half years. She’s been in a lot of productions. She loves working.

Isabel Nielson is our assistant stage manager. She’s a junior and has been doing theater since 8th grade. She’s been in Matilda Jr., Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Tracks.

Alexander Miller is our head tech person. He’s one of our awesome seniors and he has done theater for four years. He was in Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. A fun fact about him, he has a metal rod in his back. He can also play thirteen different instruments and can drift in a car.

Brandt Rooks is a part of our tech crew. He’s a sophomore and has been doing theater for a year.

Mary Riddle is a part of our tech crew. She’s one of the awesome seniors we have the privilege to work with. She’s been doing theater for two and a half years now. This is her first production. She aspires to be a singer after she graduates.

Halle Nielson is apart of our theater crew.

Bella Aguilar is on our awesome stage crew. She is a junior and this is her third year. She’s been in previous productions such as Fiddler on the Roof, Mmmbeth, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She loves doing art in many forms. She loves anything within the horror genre having a preference for found footage films and silly slashers.

Jayden Wells is one of our stage crew members. He’s a senior and this is his first year doing theater. He hasn’t been in any previous productions. He’s also made a board game.

Tatum Lambert is a member of our stage crew. She’s a sophomore and this is her first year in the theater. She hasn’t been in a production “in the past 5 or so years”(Lambert, 2024). She absolutely loves turtles and purple.

Austin Torgerson is in our tech crew. He’s one of our great seniors and has been doing theater for four years.  He was in Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He wants you to know he has yet to crash his personal car.

Carter Christensen is apart of our theater crew. He does one of our spotlights.

Hannah Miles is a part of our crew. She's doing one of the spotlights She’s a freshman and this is her first year doing theater. She hasn’t been in any previous productions. She wants you to know she has a dog named Lord Remington the Third.
