When signed in to your Seton Hill account, the following AI tools are approved for use with school-related Amber, Green, or Clear data:
AI Policy Compliance: All use of generative AI tools must align with Seton Hill University's official AI Acceptable Use Policy and Data Classification guidelines to protect student, staff, and institutional data.
Approved Tools Only: No other AI platforms or services may be used to create, process, upload, or analyze school data—including but not limited to student information, assessment materials, internal documents, or staff communications.
Data Classification Alignment: Employees are responsible for ensuring that any use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools aligns with the Data Classification Policy and adheres to the guidelines defined for TLP Red, Amber, Green, and Clear classifications. These restrictions ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, protecting student, staff, and school data.
Confidentiality: Confidential or sensitive University data should never be entered into public or unapproved AI tools. Users should assume any data entered into such tools may become publicly accessible.
Licensing Requirements: Sensitive University data may only be used with tools approved and licensed by the University. Use of unapproved or non-licensed tools may result in corrective action.
