The OpenView HD satellite TV service sits on both the IS-20 and SES-5 satellites, which means it is now even easier for you to get OpenView HD if you already have a satellite dish installed. To "activate Open View Decoder", on the bottom-right corner dial *120*6843*1# and follow the prompts.

After connecting decoder follow the below steps to activate open view decoder:
You will see a help button on your remote control.
Press that and open the help menu.
It will ask for your STB number.
Now push the Exit button and come back on the channel screen.
Use your cell phone to dial the number and use the STB number to complete the process.
The decoder will not only activate but may be upgraded as well.
After activation, you can use your remote to change the channels of your choice.
