All About Me and My School!
All About Me and My School!
Welcome to the beginning of a new school year!
I'm so excited to kick off 2025–2026 with your child. It’s going to be a year filled with learning, laughter, and growth! We’ll begin with our theme: “All About Me and My School!” This month, we’ll focus on helping children develop a positive sense of who they are while learning about their families, God, and friends. We’ll talk about feelings, where we live, and how to stay safe at school—through fun activities, stories, and play.
Be sure to ask your child each day to share about their experiences- things they created, games they played, songs they sang, and books they enjoyed.

What We Are Learning:

Group Lesson:
Going over classroom rules and how to play in our classroom centers.
Learning each others names.
Taking a walk around our school and going over safety rules on the playground.
Literacy:
Reading books about school, family and friends.
Art:
Painting on the easel.
Math:
Measuring shoe with cubes.
Religion:
Bible Story- God Made Me
The children will learn about themselves and realize they are special, unique and glad to be who they are.
Going over Mass etiquette.

- Recent picture of your child for "Our Class Family" bulletin board.
- Monday, August 25th-
- Pictures of family, home, loved ones and pets. These can be emailed or sent in an envelope.

- Wednesday, August 13th, 20th, 27th - Spirit Shirt Dress Days. (Students wear Spirit shirt with uniform bottoms)
