About me

Welcome to Classroom 7! I am Nancy Tran, a 1st grade teacher at Lakewood. This is my 8th year of teaching. I taught 2nd grade for three years and 3rd grade for four years at San Jose Unified School District.

I was born and raised in San Leandro, California after my parents immigrated to America. With English as a second language, my family grew up valuing education. Therefore, my oldest sister teaches 3rd grade at SLUSD, and my twin sister is a SLP in San Jose. We are a family who understands the importance of education and happy to give back to the community.
