Q. What is the Continuing Education Option (CEO) Rank Change Program?
A. The CEO Rank Change Program allows any KY educator or administrator to earn a Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) recognized Rank I or Rank II change to their current certification.
Q. Does the CEO Rank Change Program lead to a Master’s degree?
A. No, the CEO Rank Change Program is recognized by Kentucky EPSB as a Rank I or Rank II change pathway only.
Q. Will the CEO Rank Change Program allow me to earn a pay raise upon completion?
A. Yes, once tuition is paid in full, the CEO Rank Change Program is an approved step or pay increase pathway by Kentucky EPSB.
Q. Is the CEO Rank Change Program an online, hybrid, or face-to-face program?
A. Synchronous classes meet one day each week, online via Google Classroom, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams. A face-to-face orientation is provided to students on a Saturday in January or July at the Southeast South-Central Educational Cooperative office in London, KY as a means for students to meet program faculty, staff, and mentors.
Q. What courses/activities are required in the CEO Rank Change Program?
A. The CEO Rank Change Program requires the completion of the following three components:
Four (4) courses: (2) eight week terms per semester
Two (2) Online Micro-Credentials
Capstone Project and Presentation
Q. How long does it take to complete the CEO Rank Change Program?
A. The CEO Rank Change Program can be completed in one (1) year from the start date.
Q. Can I receive Federal Financial Aid/Loans for the CEO Rank Change Program?
A. No, because the CEO Rank Change Program does not lead to a degree.
Q. How much does the CEO Rank Change Program cost?
A. The cost of the CEO Rank Change Program is a one-time fee of $5,400.00. The fee includes all program textbooks. Payment plans are available to help students budget payments over twelve (12) months.
