October 2025
It’s hard to believe that this Friday marks the end of the first grading period! The last day of the first quarter will be Thursday, Oct. 3. Report cards will be sent home when students return from Fall Break on Friday, Oct. 17.
If you haven’t signed up for a parent/teacher conference yet, please reach out to your child’s teacher or the front office. Conferences are a great opportunity to discuss your child’s progress so far this year. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15 and Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 2:45–6:00 p.m. We look forward to meeting with you.
A reminder that Fall Break is Oct. 6–10. School will resume on Monday, Oct. 13. We hope you enjoy a relaxing and refreshing break with family and friends!
Be sure to take a look below for other news and upcoming activities. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything. You can contact me by email at bgarrison@ses.k12.in.us or by phone at 765-544-3331.

Way to go, Waldron Mohawks!
This year’s Walk-a-Thon was a huge success—we exceeded our goal and raised over $11,000!
A big thank you goes out to our amazing PTO officers for organizing the fundraiser, to all the volunteers who helped during the event, and to each of you for your generous donations and fundraising efforts.
Congratulations to our top three winners: Vera Knepp, Silas Fuller, and Indie Fuller! The top class was Mrs. Stanton’s class—great job, Mohawks!
Join the Waldron Elementary PTO! This organization helps provide activities for students and raise funds that go back directly to our classrooms and students. Meetings are the last Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend in person, you can join virtually using this link. If you have questions, please contact PTO Presidents, Jess DeHart, Heidi Nash-Kniffen, or Lauren Stodgell at WESPTO@ses.k12.in.us
We hope to see you there!
