Many colleges accept the Common Application. The application itself can be a bit tedious but once completed, it is an easy process to add additional schools. You can register atwww.commonapp.org.
For scholarship information, I strongly recommend creating a profile atwww.fastweb.com. This is a scholarship site that will email you notifications of scholarships that you will be eligible for based on the information in your profile.
Take some time to visitwww.financialaidtoolkit.ed.gov. On this site you can download the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and access your IRS Tax Return (www.fafsa.gov) to automatically insert your information into the FAFSA application.
Another good source of information can be found atwww.finaid.org.
Lastly, please visitwww.collegeboard.org/bigfuture which is a great web site for the college planning process. I strongly recommend establishing an account --it is free! Remember, any time you need pay for a scholarship service, it is bogus! Delete it, and don’t give it a second thought.
