For this assignment we were supposed to pick fifteen different categories to take photos of. Then we were supposed to take three photos of each category to get a total of 45 images. After that we were supposed to pick on photo from each categroy that we thought was the best and edit it.
I was drawn to these images because I like night photography and nature photography. Most of the images that I have taken are in some way realated to nature or an urban landscape. I like the way light creates different shadows on buildings and the detail of plants close up. I also dabble in abstract photography so that is why I like the images of the mirrors.
For this assignment we were supposed to set a timer for five minutes and go around our house collecting everything that we considerd important to us. To fulfill this prompt I grabbed the scarf my brother made me, my stuffed minecraft creeper that was my first purchase, my favorite pair of shoes, my sketchbook, my wallet, my phone, my computer, and my bag so i can carry everything.

Dada Inspired Family Collage
I chose this image of my family because it includes all of the people that I am close to in my family. I chose the image of my cat because I love my cat and she is very cute. I chose an image of me snowboarding because I like snowboarding alot and I feel that it represents a big part of my life. I chose my brothers guinea pig because it is very important to him.
Abstract photos
I went around old town and found things that looked similar to the reference photos and took pictures of them. There were alot of different things to take pictures of but these ones are my favorite. I find it intreseting how we can take day to day things and take a picture of them in such a way that it makes it look like a completely different thing.
Elements/Principles
Film Stills
In this assignment we were supposed to pick a movie and then find stills from that movie that we liked and recreate them. For this project I chose the movie "JOKER" and found stills that I liked a wanted to recreate. To recreate these images I wanted to play with light in similar ways to which the cinematographer did and wanted to attempt to capture the same mood and general feeling of the image.
