This natural journal was drawn while sitting in the south west corner of the Sequoyah Campus. I chose to sit here because all of these plants almost acted as one, showing a whole ecosystem within the area of a foot.

I chose to do the Japanese Camellia as my botanical illustration. I focused on the flowers trying to show the value of the different parts of the plant. I really liked the top left one, as it shows how many different shades of green appear on this plant.
