About Me!

I am an 18 year old Visual Artist and Singer/Songwriter from Los Angeles, currently a senior at Sequoyah High School in Pasadena.

My visual artwork explores themes of sexuality, the body, and queer sex, while embracing the absurdity and humor found in their subjects. I work with various forms of media including installation, collage, printmaking, soft sculpture, performance, painting, and other forms of fabrication.

In the past couple of years I have been focused on the patriarchal sexualization and stigmatization of female and queer bodies, especially the vulva.  Examples are works such as "The Vulva Room" (an instillation created while attending a pre-college program at SAIC), and "Pinned Panties." I hope for my work to contribute to the destigmatizing the topic of sex and the body, especially in the context of queerness, and show viewers the beauty and diversity present in our bodies.

As a songwriter I have out a single "Judith" and an EP "Stay At My Place," both written, recorded, arranged, and produced by myself and independently released. Songwriting is another form of art where I explore queerness, and in a much more personal light. My EP is an emotional and personal account of my personal experiences as a young queer person. My goal with all of my songs is to be as emotionally transparent as I can, both for my benefit and hopefully for the benefit of other young queer people who might connect with my music.
