TAC

The gifted program is referred to as TAC which stands for "Talented and Creative." TAC class provides enrichment for students qualified as Intellectually Gifted. Students are provided time during RTI with similarly gifted peers in a small group setting. The curriculum is based on the PBL Project. Project-based learning is a strategy that promotes rigor by giving students the opportunity to take on a challenging, socially and/or personally relevant tasks within the context of nurturing relationships. PBL allows students to gain knowledge and develop skills as they work to investigate complex problems, questions, or challenges over a sustained amount of time.
