MULTIPLE CHOICE SKILL BUILDING (~ 1 hour):

Video One: Strategies for Multiple Choice Exam
Video Two: Tips for Crushing MCQs

You should practice trying to answer each question in a minute so try timing yourself and only working on this for 36 minutes.
BRAINSTORMING FOR WRITING (~ 2 hours):
The APUSH curriculum focuses on three major themes in Periods 1 and 2. You will also have three major types of writing assignments to tackle: short answer questions, long essay questions, and document based questions. This section of the assignment is designed to introduce you to these ideas and skills.
Write a bullet point list of potential specific pieces of information you could use if you were to write these essays. Choose EITHER the short answer OR the long essay option for EACH theme, for a total of three brainstorm lists. YOU DO NOT NEED TO WRITE FULL ESSAYS--ONLY BRAINSTORMS ARE REQUIRED.
*Note: You are always welcome to go above the basic requirements so if you want to prep for ALL essay options or you want to actually write out the essay, that would be amazing!
