Septic Pumping
Proper preventive maintenance can increase the longevity of your septic system. We recommend pumping your septic tank every 1 to 3 years. Pumping intervals will depend on water usage in the home and condition of your septic system.
When your septic tank is pumped and cleaned we will remove dirt above your tank exposing the cover. Our septic pumping includes:
Identifying the size and type of your septic tank.
Determining its depth below the ground surface.
Inspecting both the inlet and outlet baffles for deterioration.
Measuring the liquid level in the tank from the top of the liquid to the septic tank ceiling. This ensures that the leach field is absorbing the liquid from the tank.
Scanning the inside of the tank for cracks or holes.
Pumping all liquid and solids out of the septic tank and into our pump truck for disposal.
Completing a septic tank pumping report, which includes findings, test results, and a map with measurements to the septic tank for future reference.
Septic Inspections
We’re proud to provide the best septic tank inspection services in the State of Connecticut. We’re confident you can’t find our quality of service anywhere else. We strongly advise booking a septic pumping with your septic inspection. Read more about the importance of inspecting your septic tank here.
Take a look at our septic inspection process:
Reserve your septic inspection in a 2-hour time slot: (8am – 10am, 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm).
We’ll locate your tank, pump it out, and assess its condition.
Then, we feed a fiber-optic camera through your tank’s outlet pipe until we reach the distribution box. During this step, we examine the liquid levels and condition of the pipes.
Next, we examine the leaching fields to identify saturation levels.
We’ll present any important observations to you while onsite.
Finally, we complete a detailed report, and provide it to you, within 24 hours. This includes any relevant observations, diagrams for clarity, and recommendations for remediation.
