Introduction

In 1903 “Left! Back! Back!” (airplane-sound effect) “Wow the Airplane flew! The airplane flew!” Are you asking me what that noise is? Well it’s the first airplane to fly!

Guess who made the first airplane… Wright the Wright brothers!Wright Brothers is significant because they made the first airplane in the whole world! They changed the way of traveling! Oh, I didn't introduce myself. I’m Changyoon Chung from SFS. Welcome to significant voices!

Where was I… Oh! Wilbur Wright was born in 1867 and Orville Wright was born in 1871! That’s a long time ago! These people didn’t create airplane like “BOOM!” They tried and tried and finally made an airplane!

But,the first airplane is not the same as you think.

It was made with wood and only one person could ride it!

Early Life

First, The Wright brothers made and fixed bikes in their bike shop.

They opened the shop in 1892! But one day they were wondering how gliders balance in the air. So they started

making a glider . (Building-sound effect)

In 1900 they finally made a glider. But they wanted to make stronger, faster aircraft. So they kept experimenting with kites and gliders. ( Building-sound effect)

In 1903…

In 1903 the Wright brothers made the first airplane! It had stiff wings that were powered by a small gasoline engine. It was much lighter than a steam engine! The first flight flew 120 feet and stayed for 12 seconds in the air. and they tried a few more times than the longest flight flew 852 feet and stayed for 59 seconds.

After that, the Wright brothers made an airplane shop! But people barely came.

So the Wright brothers had a new idea. They made airplane shows! After that many people came!

Death…

The death of the Wright brother was horrible!

Wilbur died of typhoid fever on May30,1912 at the age

of 45…

Orville died of a heart attack on January30, 1948 at the age of 77…

Conclusions

The Wright brothers gave a big impact to the world! They made the first airplane so

We can travel faster! They had an dream to make a airplane and they did not give up until they accomplished it.
