Local-First Architecture
ShopAccel uses a privacy-focused, local-first architecture. Your business data (products, sales, customers, inventory) is stored exclusively on your device using secure local storage. We do not have access to your business data.

Encryption
All data is protected using industry-standard encryption during transmission and storage. Cloud backups are encrypted before being stored in your personal Google Drive account.
Authentication
We use secure authentication methods through trusted providers. We never store or have access to your password.
Payment Security
Payment processing is handled by trusted, certified third-party providers. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials.
Required Permissions
Internet Access - Required for authentication and subscription verification
Camera - Only used for barcode scanning (optional feature)
Contacts - Only accessed if you choose to import customer contacts (optional)
Storage - To save backups to your device or Google Drive (optional)
Permission Usage
We only request permissions when needed for specific features. You can deny any optional permission and still use the core app functionality.

You can export all your data at any time using the Backup feature. Your data is yours.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app. Contact us to delete your authentication records from our servers.
Right to Be Forgotten
Upon request, we will delete all your data from our authentication and subscription systems within 30 days.
Server Location
Our authentication servers are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with data centers that comply with international data protection standards.
Data Residency
Your business data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to create a backup, which is stored in your personal Google Drive account.
Local Data
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Account Data
We retain your email and subscription status for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.
Security Logs
We retain security logs for a limited period to protect against fraud and unauthorized access.
ShopAccel is designed for business use and is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
