The following employees will leave us in the month December: Pim van Appel, Spyridon Tsantalis, Jaime A Hernandez, Gerard Flores Ascón and Laszlo Oosterlee.
We wish them every success in their next challenge. 🍀
December 1st, 2022 marks an important day for Marco and Senan. They have been employed by Sensorfact for 5 years! Thank you so much for 5 years of dedication and hard work. Happy anniversary and we will definitely toast to this during the next Trimonthly! 🍾
A CRM migration is just like a match from the Dutch national soccer team. You know it will be terrible, but will it be “Netherlands – Equador” terrible, or more “Netherlands – USA” terrible? As the motto of our company is still ‘meten is weten’ (if you don’t know what that means, shame on you), we decided to just go by the numbers. In one weekend, we migrated 1.6 million records (deals, leads, contacts, support tickets, etc.). Over 70 users were migrated. The first day alone, we have encountered 68 user errors, out of which more than half we could resolve before midnight (ok, you got us, it was slightly after midnight) on the first day. I got no people screaming at me, so no red or even yellow cards were handed out. There were a few casualties and injuries, but as these mainly concerned duplicate entries, the referee decided to allow a continued trajectory in Hubspot.
With all of this, we can say it was a hard fought-for victory, which enables us a place in the grand finale: a smooth and hassle free with no more duplicates in 2023.
And then lastly on a serious note: massive thanks to all of you for your enormous flexibility. I am fully aware that migrating a CRM is a hassle, that comes on top of already very full agenda’s. I really hope that we can have a beer during the Q1 trimonthly and that most of you will have come to appreciate the new CRM, and may even see that it is in many ways a set-up from our previous way of working. THANK YOU!
🙏 And Karel (thanks for writing this) but thank YOU for coordinating this whole project and making sure we can now use Hubspot in a good way!
We have received a developed website from Stuurlui (our website builder) and are still busy removing errors, sharpening the design and writing and translating content. The go-live date is scheduled for December 14, so hopefully we'll be able to showcase our brand new website during the upcoming Trimonthly.
We are planning for 100 pieces of our own sensor for field testing in the second half of January. To realize this, we are now going to have injection molds made in China, so that we have the first 100 pieces before Chinese New Year. Ultimately, we expect to have the first larger commercial batches of our own sensor in early April. From then on we are no longer dependent on just one supplier, which is favorable for the purchase prices of our sensors.
The predictive maintenance team has DJ Jean’s biggest hit on replay these days (link). Motivated by this music, we are finalizing the implementation of our MVP product. Our current work is crucial, but we’re not working on a “big chunk”. We are piecing the puzzle together: connecting data sources to the webclient, making configuration available in backoffice, upgrading the sensor software and automating the consulting reports.
Next to this software puzzle; we had the good news that our hardware development is on track. One final push to “get ready for the launch”!
The Sales team has started the second phase of the test, in which we approached existing customers for Predictive Maintenance. The first results are very promising. With a very high conversion and enthusiastic reactions from the customers themselves. It is very clear which customers have a concrete need. In addition, we have started with the first steps of the implementation. The process is now largely fleshed out and is currently being built into Hubspot. Another update next month!
The installation manual is maybe not the most exciting type of content, but crucial for the onboarding of new customers. 🚀
What’s new?
One integrated manual for all sensor types i.s.o 2 (EN & NL versions are ready);
Fully renewed pulse sensor and installation prep. content;
Used the latest style guidelines and new product photography;
Updated troubleshooting guides.
What’s next?
DE, IT, ES, PL, FR versions (expected: Dec / Jan);
Chapter uploads to new self-help Hubspot environment (TBD beginning of 2023);
Current sensor chapter update when we also use non-Pressac sensors (TBD beginning of 2023).
🙏 Thank you Stefan, Evie, Hans, Anneloes, Thomas, Bouke, Maya, Kasper and Paco for all your work on renewing, reviewing or translating the installation manual. Great team work!
November 30th was a special day for all the Sensorfact children, because none other than Sinterklaas (aka Wisse) visited the Adam office (together with two lovely Pietjes - Sylvie & Elise).
On the 16th of December it's time for the Trimonthly Christmas edition! This promises to be a very fun day with winter activities in a Winter Wonderland. We look forward to seeing you all on the 16th! Check the calendar invitation for more details. 🎄
