Commonly Used Kaiser Abbreviations and Words
TPI - Treatment Progress Indicator - Kaiser specific weekly assessment completed on Lucet. It is a combination of several assessments including BHI (Behavioral Health Index) PHQ 9, GAD 7, AOQ Global Distress Score, AUDIT, Drug Screener (one question regarding recreational drug use or prescription misuse), TA (Treatment Assessment), PTSD (4 question screener), and CSSRS. Kaiser tracks TPI completion and expects 80% completion rate of external providers.
MRN - Medical Record Number - Kaiser specific insurance number that also can be used to find client in Lucet EHR system. This is not the same as MRN listed in SC 2.0, it will be listed under Billing tab of client chart (does not start with zero's)
Lucet - Kaiser's EHR system that contains Kaiser patient list and Kaiser scheduling calendar.
BHI - Behavioral Health Index - Kaiser's score of clients symptoms based on answers in TPI assessment.
Pending Appointment/Pending Portal - Orange appointment on SC calendar indicating a referred Kaiser client, will convert to pink appointment when client claims their portal.
Freeform Note - Non-billable note in Lucet. Typically used to indicate attempts at communication, changes in treatment plan, and changes in patient care.
Kaiser Clinical Review - Normal procedure for new Kaiser clinicians, it is a meeting scheduled with our Kaiser representative to go over any questions related to Lucet and review a case or two.
