Mito Akiyoshi is professor of sociology at Senshu University. Her recent work has focused on human decision-making in the presence of complex technology and social drivers of Japanese women’s life choices.

研究の指導を希望される方へ（大学院・研究生志望の方）

ここ数年、問い合わせが多いので、こちらにまとめて書いておきます。なお、大学院の正規院生以外に、研究生の指導をすることもあります。詳しくは、大学院の資料を確認してください。

1. 私の専門は方法論的には社会学の量的研究です。Substantiveには技術の社会学です。

2. 留学生の指導もしています。私自身が研究に使用できる言語は日本語と英語です。出身地、母語、年齢、その他の生得的属性問わず、できる限り指導します。

3. 専門分野の表面的なマッチングだけではなく、著作の概要なども確認していただいて、指導を希望するかどうか決めていただくとよいと思います。

4. 使っているソフトは、Stata、R、Pythonなどです。研究開始時にこれらが使える必要はありません。授業を通じて覚えれば十分です。
