School Counselors

Mrs. Swindle the 6th grade school counselor at  Senatobia Middle School in Senatobia, MS since 2023.  She previously worked as a 7th & 8th Grade ELA Teacher at SMS for the last 10 years.  Mrs. Swindle received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University.  She taught in the South Panola School District for two and a half years.  She completed her Master's degree in school counseling at Liberty University.  She completed her counseling internship at Senatobia Middle and Elementary Schools.  Mrs. Swindle is a member of MCA, Magnolia School Counselors, and ASCA.  

Mrs. Swindle lives in Batesville, MS with her husband, Eric and daughters, Katharine and Leslie. Mrs. Swindle loves to read, watch baking competitions, and historical fiction.   She enjoys traveling to Minnesota to visit her sister and family. 

Mrs. Palmer 7th and 8th grade school counselor at Senatobia Middle School in Senatobia, MS since 2023. She previously worked as an elementary school counselor in Desoto County for 10 years.  Mrs. Palmer received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Eduacation from Delta State University. She taught in the South Panola School District for 5.5 years. Then, Mrs. Palmer completed her Master’s degree in school counseling at the University of Mississippi. She completed her counseling internship at Lewisburg Elementary. 

Mrs. Palmer is proud to be  is a National Board Certified Counselor and School Counselor as well as a member of ASCA. Mrs. Palmer was previously served as an Elementary Counselors Affinity group leader with ASCA. Mrs. Palmer also served as a SCUTA Ambassador for the 2021-2022 school year. 

Mrs. Palmer lives in Hernando, MS with her husband, Nathan and daughters, Evelyn and June.  Mrs. Palmer likes to read and watch true crime documentaries or baking competitions. She enjoys traveling and performing in local musical theater productions
