This section summarizes the types of student projects that Dr. Faisal likes to supervise in collaboration with local industries and businesses. These projects are beneficial to both the students (Industrial Technology programs) and the industry partners. The students will be able to acquire hands-on experiences on real-life problems whereas the industry partners will have the opportunity to train their future employees. The projects will be completed by teams of competitive students. This way the industry partners will be able to identify and recruit skilled students for internships and potentially hire as full-time employees after graduation. Such mutually beneficial collaborative projects will help the students gather experience while serving the community.
Do you want to know if your facility is optimally planned and (or) designed? Want to know if all the resources are arranged to minimize material handling costs and operating expenses? Our students are ready to tackle these questions, design your facility to accomplish specific objectives, and help you achieve your organizational goals.
Do you have a product idea in mind? Is there a problem that your product can solve for your customers? Do you want to have that product designed by our Drafting Design students? Our students can design the product and develop prototype using 3D printing to help you materialize the idea.
Not sure why there are so many defects or wastes in your production process? Want to have your system evaluated by our students to answer that question? They can do more! Our Industrial Technology students can help you streamline your process and improve product quality while identifying the root cause of the problem.
