There are basketball games on the LSUA campus this weekend. These take place in building no. 17, the “Fort”. We expect a large crowd. LAS activities are in buildings no. 6 and 5, Mulder Hall and the Caffey Annex, respectively. Most LAS participants will want to use lot 9, the Mulder Hall parking lot. I believe that lot 9 will also become an overflow lot for the basketball games. However, I am pretty certain that the LAS meeting starts much earlier than any game will. So, most likely sports fans will have to look for additional parking spots. Just in case, the map shows available parking lots. These are not that far apart. It just takes 2-3 minutes to get from the Science parking lot no. 1 to the Caffey Annex.

Nota bene: The empty greenspace behind the larger traffic circle is not empty anymore and is now filled with an almost complete new building. The parking lots behind the building (5 and the unnamed one) are not available. Lot 7 should be available again.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday,

Christof Stumpf, LSU-A Local Organizer
