Then join us on the last Wednesday of the month from 6-8pm at Assay Studios, Jewellery Quarter for Crumbs & Kin, our new coffee & cake club!
Crumbs & Kin is a relaxed, drop-in group for those of us with lived experience of adoption & care settings to be in community together. The space is shaped by you - so whether you like board games, craft or conversation, or if you want to organise activities and create art - Crumbs & Kin is for you.
🍰 What? A monthly social meet-up for adoptees / care experienced adults
📆 When? Frist event Weds 28th Jan, 6-8pm (drop in) - then the last Wednesday of every month
📍 Where? Assay Studios (Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham) in main Atom space
📝 Details: a relaxed, drop-in space, complete with plenty of cake (with nut-free, gluten-free and vegan options) and tea / coffee. We’ll provide board games, craft materials, fidget toys and gentle music — just bring yourself.

Access Information
Assay Studios is an accessible building, with step-free access from the street, accessible toilets on the ground floor, and a lift to the lower floor where we meet. There's a virtual tour on their website here, and you'll find a map below.
You can tell us about any dietary needs on the sign up form, but we'll always endeavour to have gluten, nut and diary free options available as a matter of course.
We have a small transport fund to help with the cost of travel, for those who would find this a barrier to attendance.
If you have visual or hearing impairments, please let us know so we can support you to attend.
Support workers are welcome to attend, but out of respect for the wider group we ask that wherever possible the space is protected for those with lived experience.
If you are coming alone and would like to buddy up with a member of our team on your arrival please let us know and we can look out for you.
Assay Studios has unisex and single-sex toilets.
