The height restriction for stands in the Exhibition Hall is 4m. This limit includes the overall height of the stand fitting and all raised platforms as measured from the hall floor.
The organiser aims to create clear sight lines throughout the hall to ensure all stands and exhibits can be seen clearly. The sides of your stand adjacent to a gangway may only have full height walling up to 50% of the total length of that side. In addition, the maximum permitted length of any full height gangway walling run is 4m. So, for example, if your wall length is 4m, the maximum run of full height walling permitted would be 2m. The gangways used in this venue are the minimum permissible by law and have been subject to approval by the Local Authority. Under no circumstances will exhibits, stand dressing, tables, chairs, etc. be allowed to encroach into the gangways. All exhibits must always be kept inside your stand space.
Banner plans (including dimensions / weight / materials / rigging points, etc.) must be submitted by Monday 14th April to the stand plan approval contractor, Select International Events Ltd (Duncan@selectiel.com), and the ACC's rigging contractor. Dave.Bateman@accliverpool.com
The overall height of the venue hall is 7m. When designing your stand with rigging, it is a requirement to have a minimum clearance of 2m from the highest point of your stand build and the underside of your rigged banner etc.
Banners must be rigged within the boundary of your stand space.
Lighting rigs will be allowed provided they conform to the regulations governing their use, for example:
Official rigging contractor must rig all structures
No graphics or decorative material may be displayed upon the lighting rig
Complex rigging is not permitted at this event; however, lightweight modular branded banner rigs are acceptable. Please email Dave.Bateman@accliverpool.com for costs including bespoke quotations.
Forklift bookings must go via Tim Filmer tim@selectiel.com.
All units to be unloaded must:
Be no wider than 2.5m wide
No longer than 2.5m
Be on a robust pallet with under plates
The load must be secure on the pallet with additional secure straps used.
Be no heavier than 1.5 tonne
NOTE. Any pallet or load not abiding to the above will potentially mean the pallet or load cannot be unloaded and or mean incuring additional costs and delays. Lift costs will be per unit lift off a vehicle onto the ground and to a place as safe and close to the stand as possible. The use of forklifting services is based on the owner of the unit, pallet, materials being lifted has adequate insurance to cover and damage or loss however caused during the lifting operation.

Please ensure that all fabrics used on stands have the relevant fireproofing solutions. It is a requirement that all drapes brought into the venue conform to BS 5867 Specification for Fabrics for Curtains and Drapes.
Fire extinguishers are located at convenient points around the hall. All materials used for the interiors of stands must be thoroughly fireproofed or be non-combustible to the satisfaction of the local authority. Failure to do so may result in the removal of all offending fittings.
Any person (exhibitor or contractor) discovering a fire, should immediately notify the venue security and call: Tim Filmer: 07831 149138. Do not try and fight the fire if you are not trained to.
The ACC will provide basic first aid cover during the build, open, and breakdown periods at the conference. If first aid is required urgently, exhibitors/contractors can notify any member of ACC staff. They will have a radio and can contact the first aid team quickly to come to the relevant location.
Exhibitors can choose their own furniture supplier, but we strongly advise them to inform tim@selectiel.com in advance about the furniture’s arrival, the supplier’s name, and the collection date. Collection is crucial because sometimes the supplier misses the breakdown instructions and fails to collect on time, leading to fines for the exhibitor.
You will be asked to complete a short site induction upon your arrival to the halls to obtain a build/break wristband. In accordance with government guidelines, there are currently no Covid restrictions in place at the venue.
The ACC is fully wireless enabled and recently upgraded the access points throughout the venue in order to provide guests, delegates and exhibitors with an even faster and more reliable service. The venue offers a range of dedicated internet solutions for exhibitors with advanced connectivity requirements and is able to recommend the services that will best meet your needs. These can be ordered through your ACC exhibitor portal

In the event of complaints, the matter shall be referred to the organiser for their decision.
Exhibitors wishing to play any recorded material (including CD/Record/Cassette/Video) must obtain a licence from the Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) and Performing Rights Society (PRS). Exhibitors are solely responsible for obtaining any licence required to play music on their stand.
The use of microphones, videos or music is permitted, but the volume must not be such as to cause any annoyance to other exhibitors or theatre sessions. The organiser reserves the right to prohibit their use if, in the organiser’s opinion, any annoyance is being caused, and remove the offending equipment and/or exhibitor from the Exhibition Hall.
Under no circumstances is painting or spraying of cellulose paints permitted. Water-based paint is permitted however spraying requires permissions from: tim@selectiel.com
Exhibitors can attend any sessions in any of the HUBs located in the Exhibition Hall. Exhibitors do not need to pre-register for these sessions.
