HUMANS OF ST. EDWARD

What is the Humans of St. Edward Project?

The Humans of St. Edward project is produced on in the Introduction to Visual Storytelling freshmen film class. The project was inspired by by photographer Brandon Stanton's well known Humans of New York project, where Stanton moved to New York City on a whim in efforts to establish a photography career and subsequently started taking photos of strangers on the street. Stanton's work revolves around getting to know others and telling their stories. The Humans of St. Ed's Project tasks freshmen film makers every semester to tell the stories of adult working members of the St. Ed's community. As a result, freshmen working on this project will not only be better film makers but also have a stronger connection to the St. Ed's community surrounding them.
