The TSI (Texas Success Initiative) is a test that helps determine if you're ready for college - level classes in reading, writing, and math. Most students take it if they're planning to attend a public college or university in Texas, or if they want to take dual credit courses. Your scores help colleges know whether you can jump straight into regular classes or if you'll need a little extra support first. Some students don't have to take it if they meet certain scores on the SAT or ACT. If you're not sure whether you need to take the TSI, I can help - just stop by the CCMR Center in A100!
Please make sure that you practice before you sign up for the TSI. You can do that by going to this website: https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students/prepare-for-accuplacer/practice and creating a free account.
Please complete the form below to schedule your date. It's important to note that these are the dates offered this school year so it's important to plan ahead. All students must be signed up in order to take the TSI. If you are not on the roster, you will not have a voucher to test.
