ENTRY DETAILS

Team entries close Wednesday 26th March 2025

Fast Grass TROPHY PULL:

Each team must consist of 8 people pulling not exceeding 800kg.

You may register up to ten people in your team, but only eight will be pulling at any one time. You will compete against every team in this category in the heats throughout the event, followed by the finals.

Entry Fee: $100 per team. Please refer to the rules.

Prizes: Winner $600 and 2nd $400

On Grade MIXED PULL:

The Mixed Pull has no weight limit but at least four of the team members must be female.

You may register up to ten people in your team, but only eight will be pulling at any one time. You will compete against every team in this category in the heats throughout the event, followed by the finals.

Entry Fee: $100 per team. Please refer to the rules.

Prizes: Winner $500 and 2nd $300

PROPERTY BROKERS RANGIORA WOMAN'S PULL:

The Female Pull has no weight limit but all of the team members must be female.

You may register up to ten people in your team, but only eight will be pulling at any one time. You will compete against every team in this category in the heats throughout the event, followed by the finals.

Prizes: Winner $500 and 2nd $300

CoolTranz Year 7&8 SCHOOL PULL:

Each School Team may consist of up to 8 students pulling (Plus 2 reserves). A minimum of 2 girls pulling per team.

There is no weight limit.

Mixed teams are allowed, and students should all attend the school they pull for. You will compete against every team in this category in the heats throughout the event, followed by the finals.

Kids Entry Fee: $50 per team. Please refer to the rules.

Prizes for 1st -$300, 2nd -$200 and 3rd -$100

CoolTranz Year 5&6 SCHOOL PULL:

Each School Team may consist of up to 8 students pulling (Plus 2 reserves). A minimum of 2 girls pulling per team.

There is no weight limit.

Alongside the Tug of war contest, there is also other competitions which you can enter on the day of the event. Lot's of fun to be had with great prizes. Just turn up and Have a Go!

VEHICLE PULL

3 categories where teams of four compete to pull a vehicle from a standing start as fast as they can.
Entry Fee: $10

Daiken vehicle pull- Men's (Prize for winner $100)

Total Trees vehicle pull - Woman (Prize for winner- $100)

RF Builders vehicle pull - Kids (Prize- $50 Sport Shop voucher)
