5th Grade ELA 

For 5th grade ELA, we will be using WONDERS. Wonders supplies students with reading, English, grammar, and vocabulary materials. WONDERS sets up their reading units to last every 10 days with the test on the 10th day (give or take). WONDERS sets up their grammar units to last every 7 days with a test on the 7th day (give or take). Finally, WONDERS sets up their vocabulary units to last  5 days, with a test on the 5th day. Students will learn vocabulary words on Day 1 of a Unit. Then, it is their responsibility to practice the words at home before the test date. Students will learn a grammar skill, and they will continue to practice it in class. Students will also have a reading concept that they will learn each unit.
