Art Club is a group of creative students who have a love for art. The students’ artistic interests are varied to include drawing, painting, manga and sculpture. Art Club gives these students an opportunity to express themselves and explore their artistic abilities. Students from all grade levels are welcome to join. We meet weekly. It is a fun way to meet other students with similar interests.
The Audio Visual Club is composed of enthusiastic students with a passion for technology and the willingness to record school events and broadcast them on our local cable channel. Students who join the club will make new friends, acquire some great leadership skills, learn to operate some cool equipment, and earn community service hours. Our main purpose is to inform the student body and the town of Seekonk of events, club activities and sports. We also broadcast the School Committee meetings.
Interested in learning more about social justice issues? Join this virtual book club from anywhere on the first Monday of the month from 7-7:30 PM. We'll read stories of young people from a variety of different experiences: African Americans, LGBTQ+, Muslim Americans and more and discuss our thoughts on the books. Open to all students!
Come join the Drama Club as members rehearse and perform musicals to share our love of the arts! We perform one musical in the spring and rehearse starting mid-January.
Game Club is a group of fun-loving students who meet together after school to play and talk about their favorite games, which include video games, board games, RPGs, & much, much more.

Green Team is a relatively new group at SHS. There is a Green Team at each of the schools in the district. Last year, the team started working on reducing waste, as well as worked with the Science Club greenhouse group to encourage students to compost and recycle. This year, the Green Team focused on Air Pollution by holding an awareness week and attempting to reduce idling.
SAVIGE is a club founded with the intentions of combating the rise in vaping/juuling among youth and students at SHS. The club aims to raise awareness about the physical consequences and other harms of vaping.
The Jam Club provides students interested in music with a chance to play on stage with other musicians. It also gives students a chance to learn how to set up the stage for performances. The students gain experience through performing and learn to become better musicians.
The Key Club is composed of students dedicated to service in their community and the world around them. Through Key Club, members gain leadership experience and build character. Our club consists of one hundred members who devote their time to serving their community. Some of our most successful events range from the national fundraiser Pennies for Patients to our annual Easter Egg Hunt held at the high school.
Math Team is a club of students who enjoy working on math problems that require thinking outside of the box. The team enters into competitions with other students from Southeastern Massachusetts high schools. The Math Team splits up into groups of five students; all five students enter into three individual rounds and all five members participate in a team round. There are four math meets throughout the school year. Practices are held throughout the school year.
The Seekonk High Model United Nations team is a group of students who are interested in global issues and debate. They attend area conferences to compete with high schoolers from other schools by actively taking on the roles of foreign countries and diplomats. They explore world problems such as women’s rights, peace in the Middle East and cybersecurity in order to negotiate resolutions and practice their public speaking and debate skills.
Paper Cuts is an annually produced literary arts magazine that includes poems, short stories, narratives, photography, and art work submitted by students. Members of this club collect submissions, edit the pieces and put everything together to produce the magazine in the spring.
Ping Pong Club is a group of students who enjoy playing ping pong on their free time. Students practiced by playing against each other in the gym to prepare for a competitive ping pong tournament hosted by Seekonk High School this year.
Students discuss the Lusophone Culture and take part in various activities that promote the use of the language outside the classroom. Some of the events that take place are a “biscoito” sale at parent-teacher conference night and soccer tournament with both the high school and the middle school. A festa to celebrate Portuguese food and heritage and our school community.
Science Club hosts many different groups and will meet virtually from 2:30 to 3:15 on Tuesdays. The Greenhouse group grows vegetables for the cooking classes in the fall & spring. They also compost vegetable waste from the cafeteria. The Science Bowl team is another group. They prepare and compete each March in the Northeast Science Bowl Competition at UCONN. The Women of Science Team is another group that prepares for and competes in the statewide Women of Science Competition at Bedford High School. The Envirothon team prepares for and competes in the statewide Envirothon competition in May. The team has to become experts on soil, water, forestry and wildlife as well as on the current topic each year as it relates to Seekonk. The Roots and Shoots Clubs takes on important initatives. The current iniative is to increase knowledge about the importance of pollinators and to support pollinators at the school. The Science Cafe group hosts speakers and movies of interest to students. Finally, the Science Club supports the annual STEM Games held in March.

Spanish Club returned this year full of bright young faces ready to explore and learn more about the culture they have come to love throughout years of learning the Spanish language. This year, Spanish Club made Día de los Muertos decorations for teachers, learned to Salsa, and visited a home for the elderly with Spanish-speaking residents to deliver Christmas cards and brighten days.
In Theoretical Physics Club we meet every week to discuss a different topic. We cover a wide range from Special Relativity to the possibilities of extraterrestrial life. It is open to anyone interested and no prior knowledge is required. We discuss the biggest questions that humanity can ask. Topics have included Timeline of the Universe, First Picture of a Black Hole, Quantum Foam and more!
Unified Club is a club where people of all abilities can come together to do fun activities and spread inclusion! This club participates in activities each month like pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, and movie parties. It is a place where people can come and make new friends!
A high school yearbook is a priceless record of memories and fun times. This club meets regularly to put together the yearbook by scheduling photos, writing copy, planning layout & design and more. Students of all grade levels are welcome!
