SOUPer-BOWL Fundraiser

Please join us rain or shine February 11, 2023 2:00pm - 5:00pm on the Sedona Charter School campus for the ultimate NFL Super Bowl warmup event, the SOUPer-BOWL du Jour Fundraiser! This soup cook-off will determine Sedona's SOUPer-Bowl Champs with the best homemade soups. Taste all the soups and vote for the SOUPer-BOWL People's Choice award, socialize with friends, family and the community - all are welcome.  Enjoy activities for kids and adults including the announcement of our 50/50 Raffle Winner and the conclusion of our Online Silent Auction.  All proceeds benefit Sedona Charter School’s Montessori Model United Nations Program.

All are welcome to our campus to enjoy this winter event.  To participate in the soup tasting and People's Choice voting a small fee of $20 per adult and $10 per youth allows you an unlimited tastings to enjoy of all the soups. Then vote for your favorite! Eco-friendly and biodegradable bowls and spoons are provided. 

Three winning titles are up for grabs each with prizes and awards:

•  SOUPer-BOWL du Jour - decided by our panel of local judges

  • Scott Jablow - City of Sedona’s Mayor. Scott has been serving the City of Sedona for over 10 years in various appointed and elected positions.

  • Brian Flutz - Sedona City Council Member. When Brian isn't working he can be found riding his mountain bike on his favorite Sedona trails or spending time with his family. 

  • Chef David Schmidt - Legendary Chef David Schmidt brings his fine dining experience as former Executive Chef at L'Auberge de Sedona and Enchantment Resort to judge whose soup will be the talk of the town. 

  • Beth Orosa - Owner of Sedona Culinary Creations, whose baked goods are sold throughout Sedona. She was the  previous hot lunch provider for Sedona Charter School.

  • Jannette Villalobos-Gil - Sedona Charter School’s former fabulous office staff superhuman, who has an excellent palate for food.
