One Book One School is a program designed to create a shared reading experience within a school community. A chapter book is chosen and every family receives a copy. Each family reads the book at home over the course of a few weeks. Activities at school coordinate, promote, and enrich the shared reading experience.
The story walk is located on the Dot Warren Nature Trail across the street from Sedomocha. A picture book is displayed in sign holders along the trail. It's a fun way to enjoy the outdoors and a family friendly story along the way!
Come and join us to participate in literacy activities for all ages. Teachers will share developmentally appropriate literacy tools and ways to work with students.

Parent teacher conferences are held after the first trimester of school and again in the spring time. This is a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress with their teachers.
