Dr. Nick-Marios T. Kokolakis obtained a Diploma (a 5-year degree, equivalent to an M.Sc.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Systems and Control from the University of Patras in 2018. He joined the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019, from where he received an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Since 2024, he has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kokolakis’s research lies at the intersection of control theory, game theory, and scientific machine learning. He designs intelligent autonomous systems equipped with AI-powered strategic decision-making mechanisms, ensuring safety, robustness, high performance, and predefined-time adaptation in unknown and adversarial environments.
