Hyunjin Kim

Hyunjin Kim is a senior undergraduate student at Yonsei University, majoring in Computer Science and Urban Engineering. Her research interest lies in the areas of Computer Vision and Robotics, specifically on 3D scene generation and perception. 

Hana Catic

Hana is a Bsc student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo. Her research interests include task and motion planning, machine learning and mobile robots. She is motivated by applications in autonomous vehicles.

Yuxin Cao

I am a first-year PhD student in the Robust Decision-making & Learning (RDL) Lab at the Australian National University, under the supervision of Prof. Hanna Kurniawati. Previously, I obtained my bachelor's honours degree in artificial intelligence and machine learning from ANU. My current research interests include artificial intelligence, robot planning and learning within dynamic environments.

Juan Carlos Pacheco Garcia

Juan Carlos Pacheco Garcia is a Ph.D student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University, and is a graduate student researcher in the Soft Robotics Control Lab. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in 2022. Juan's research develops pose estimation algorithms for soft robots contacting their environment. He is a GEM Fellow at BU.

Jim S. Palacios Lazo

I'm a first year Ph.D. student in Robotics and Mechatronics Systems at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, supervised by Dr. Rosalba Galvan Guerra. I have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dijon, France. My research interests are the design and robust control of soft robots and human-robot interaction.

Triniti Armstrong

Triniti is a rising second-year Ph.D. student studying Robotics at Oregon State University. She is advised by  Dr. Naomi Fitter and works in the SHARE Lab at OSU. Her research focuses on Human-Robot Interaction, specifically in the areas of wearable robotics, haptic feedback, and tactile sensing.

Zhanxin Wu

I am an MComp student at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining NUS, I received my bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. My research interests lie in Mobile Robots, Robot Learning, and Robot Planning.

Juan David Pabon

Juan David Pabon received his bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering in 2019 and his master’s degree in Industrial Automation in 2021 from the National University of Colombia. Currently, he is a MS. student in Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University working in air-aided communication of ground robots. His research interests include field robotics, multi-robot systems, automation and robotics in agriculture.

Ekele Ogbadu

I am a first year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. I work with my PhD advisor, Dr. Cynthia Matuszek, in the Interactive Robotics and Language lab. My research interests lie in Human-Robot Interaction, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence with a bias towards the robot/computer vision aspects involved in Artificial Intelligence.

Noorsyamimi Haji Abdur Ajak

Noorsyamimi Haji Abdur Ajak is an MSc in Computer Science student at the School of Digital Science, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She is currently working on imitation learning in autonomous driving for her MSc research and is supervised by Dr. Ong Wee Hong and Dr. Owais Ahmed Malik in the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Lab (Robolab). Her research interests include autonomous driving, robotics, and machine learning in interdisciplinary fields. She received her BSc in Computer Science from Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

Yewon Lee

Yewon is a MSc student in Computer Science at the University of Toronto. She works on Task and Motion Planning (TAMP) algorithms for robotics, and has previously worked on robot vision. Prior to her MSc studies, she obtained her BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.

Elizabeth Peiros

I am a first year Ph.D. student in electrical and computer engineering at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). I am a part of the ARCLab (Advanced Robotics and Controls Laboratory). Prior to starting at UCSD I completed both my bachelors and masters degrees at Stanford University in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering respectively. I worked in industry for a few years focused on wearable assistive technology, teaching human centered design and advanced 3D printing technology. My research interests include human robot physical interaction, controls, path planning and mechanism design.

Ainoor Teimoorzadeh

Ainoor is a research associate at Technical University of Munich (TUM). She is affiliated with the  Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) advised by Prof. Sami Haddadin and Dr. Luis Figueredo. Her research interests include the intersection of control theory and robotics. Currently she is working within the framework of Geriatronik project with the aim of elderly care by the service robot GARMI.

Karina Puente

Karina is a Ph.D. student at Oregon State University working on soft hand designs and sensor visualization. Joseph Davidson advises her, and she is part of the Intelligent Machines and Materials Lab. 

Aidan MacKenzie Newell

I am a Masters student at UMBC. My research interests include generative models, human-robot interaction, action planning, command interpretation, bias avoidance, and information modeling.

Melodie Jaeger

I’m Melodie, and I’m an incoming Master’s student in Robotics at the University of Michigan. My interests are primarily in controls, mechanical design, and rehabilitation robotics. I don’t have much research under my belt yet, but I’m excited to learn!

Joshua Ehizibolo

Joshua is an undergraduate at the University of Maryland College Park studying mechanical engineering. His research interests include swarm robotics, bio-inspired robotics, and soft robotics.
