Request Field Agent Services | Expectations For Showings | Process & Payment
Objective
To provide coverage and leverage for fellow agents in our offices through showing assistance to their customers for a flat fee.

Overview
Review the MLS listing sheet(s) ahead of time to familiarize yourself with the property(ies).
Be on time or early to meet the client at the designated location.
Do not interfere with the agent/customer relationship.
Make the agent you are assisting look good.
Clarify beforehand with the agent you’re assisting whether or not, if the buyer(s) decide to submit an offer on one of the properties shown, you will prepare the offer. If so, this offer should immediately be emailed to the procuring agent.
The field agent is paid a fee for the service by the customer’s agent, not a referral or percentage of the commission.
Items to have
Supra key, physical key and/or any alternative item required to access the property(ies).
MLS listing sheet for each property being shown.
Positive and helpful attitude.
Field Agents - Process and Payment
Overview
Agents wishing to utilize a field agent for one or multiple services should contact the field agents directly via email to: fieldagentservices@searchdaytonarealestate.com or fill out the from below.
Registered field agents responding to a request for assistance must “reply all” to the email so all parties know when one has accepted the assignment.
Any special requirements for the assignment outside of those specified in our written Field Agent guidelines should be communicated clearly to the Field Agent by the contracting agent.
It is recommended that estimated time requirements are discussed between the requesting agent and the cooperating field agent prior to actual service. Further, it is recommended that an estimate of time be procured beforehand from an outside contracted vendor (ie: home inspector), specifically for very large or unusual properties.
Rate for a field agent’s services is $35/hour, with a 2-hour minimum.
Tardiness or failure to show will damage your reputation as a field agent, the reputation of the contracting agent, and the reputation of RE/MAX Signature. Two occurrences of tardiness or failure to show will automatically disqualify you as a field agent.
Because services rendered are real estate related, payment must be made through the brokerage. As such, a check must be submitted to RE/MAX Signature from the agent utilizing a field agent’s services.
Payment to field agents from RE/MAX Signature will occur weekly for any services for which payment has been submitted to RE/MAX Signature for processing.
Timing
Payment for services rendered by a field agent for a given week, Monday through Sunday, should be made to RE/MAX Signature by Monday of the following week.
If the above requirement was met, payment will be made to the field agent from RE/MAX Signature on the following Thursday.
Field agents will receive $30/hour for services rendered. The remaining $5 will go to RE/MAX Signature for processing, from which the required 5% will also be paid to RE/MAX Corporate.
