What is Milord Solutions, LLC?

Milord Solutions, LLC is a mobile notary business registered in FL and owned by Valencia Crawford (Notary Public) that provides notary services to the Broward area and a 50 mile radius. Mobile Notary services bring the notary to you!

If you are outside the Broward area, give us a call and we'll discuss your notary need and mileage costs (mileage is charged at the federal rate of $0.67 and must be agreed to before taking the assignment for mobile services).

What do I need to bring to get a document notarized?

You will need to bring a valid federal or state issued ID, the document to be notarized, and any other necessary paperwork, forms or witnesses. Please note that the form of ID can not be expired, must have a clear photo and either a signature or physical description in order to be considered satisfactory proof of identity according to the State of Florida.

Can a notary perform weddings?

Yes, a Florida notary can perform weddings.

Florida is one of only a few states that allow notaries to solemnize marriages. Requirements that must be met:

Marriage License: The couple must obtain a valid Florida marriage license before the ceremony.
Location: The wedding ceremony must take place within the state of Florida

How much does notarizing a document cost (General Notary Work)?

The fees for notarial acts are maintained by statute (see FL s 116.38 ) and are as follows:

For acknowledgments, jurats, verifications or proofs, ten dollars ($10)) per principal signature.
For oaths or affirmations without a signature, ten dollars ($10) per person, except for an oath, or affirmation administered to a credible witness to vouch for the identity of a principal or subscribing witness.
For remote online Notary (RON), twenty-five dollars ($25), as defined in s. 627.7711.

Mobile notaries like Milord Solutions, LLC are allowed to charge for mileage at a reasonable current federal reimbursement rate so long as the charge is agreed to by the principal in writing before the notary begins travel. If outside of Broward County that rate is $0.45 cents per mile, to be charged upfront with the booking calendar.

What form of Payment Do You Accept?

We are able to accept cash, debit cards (with chip or magstrip), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit cards. For Loan or Estate signings, paper or electronic check payments are also acceptable.

Can a notary choose or tell me which form to use for the Notarization?

A notary is prohibited from giving legal advice or assisting with deciding which notarial certificate is to be used. If you need to download a form, please follow this link to the Florida Secretary of State's website and choose the form you require. Milord Solutions does keep a small supply of common certificates on hand, but cannot advise you on which one you will need.

Do I have to sign my documents in the presence of the Notary?

The signatures on documents to be notarized must be signed in the presence of the notary public. Documents that are already signed can not be notarized if the notarial certificate requires the notary to witness the signing of the document.

Do you offer Remote Online Notary (RON) services?

Yes, Florida Notaries Can Offer Remote Online Notary (RON) Services.

Florida was one of the early adopters of Remote Online Notary (RON) services.

This means Florida notarizations can be performed online using your audio-video of choice (cell phones, tablets, laptops. etc)

Do you notarize DMV Title transfers (Seller to Buyer?)

Notaries are able to notarize a title transfer for submission to the DMV. The seller must be present, and the name of the buyer must be entered on the title before the title will be notarized, in order to prevent an "open title" situation. The buyer themselves do not have to be present.
