We have developed alternate lessons for the first five lessons on the Fourth Grade Narrative Unit. If you are not comfortable harvesting Devil's Club with your class, you can do these alternate lessons instead and guide them through writing activities, learn about plant and animal adapatations, and take your students on a walk to find plants with adaptations.
