Below are the very real questions, learnings, and adjustments we've discovered along the way!
New terms!
Cider maker: In the beer industry we are called brewers. Where we may blend apple or other juices prior to fermentation, brewers create what they ferment using various different grains and hops prior to fermentation. How we choose to condition cider on different fruits, barrels, etc is very similar to brewing practices.
Cidery: Where we make and sell the stuff. Just like a brewery. Though I prefer to call us a cider house, because cider house RULES!
Juice: Most people call the opaque, fresh, local appleness we get to drink every fall "cider." When you hear us say "juice", that's what we're talking about." We're not talking about the Mott's from juice isle.Â
Cider: Hard Cider!
