The Jaw Breaker departed the dock at 5:00 am and headed towards "The Knuckle".
Weather conditions were good and quiet seas made for an enjoyable trip.
Although no Blue Fin were seen, the Jaw Breaker still managed to have a great day on the water paddy hopping and on the troll.
All Yellow Tail came off Paddies and the Bonita came on the troll.
Randy and Howard left the dock at 6:00 am and headed towards the Coronado Islands. They started off at the islands but they was no current so the bite was dead. Randy did some VHF Fishing and was told to head to the Rock Pile.
They threw sardines and ended up with a nice mixed bag. They finished the day out with 6 Yellowtail, 1 Bonita and 15 assorted Rock Fish.
They returned to Seaforth at 5:30 pm. They did not hook a 26' Parker on this trip although they tried.
Eddie left Seaforth Marina on Dos Panchos at 3:15 pm to catch the afternoon bite. He headed to the 182 and where he found a paddy in 73.3 degree water. Although he metered no fish, he saw Dodo's and yellowtail crashing all around. He threw every bait known to man short of a Budweiser crank bait. Finally out of frustration he decided to drown some sardines and slow trolled around the paddy. He ended up hooking up a 25lb. Bull Dorado and a Rat Yellowtail. He was safely back to the dock by 6:15 pm, drunk by 9:30 pm. and expects a pretty decent hang over.
