Slip Rates, Requirements & Marina Policies

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Our marina offers two-up slips (two boats per slip) mostly 35's with fewer 30' and 25' slots.

Thus, "beam" is a factor in pairing your boat to your neighbor's on any given available slip.

Also, you may choose to take a 35' slip until your size becomes available. Rate is always based on length of boat or length of slip whichever is greater.

Once received your slip application will be reviewed with condition of vessel, owner qualifications, and slip availability being the determining factors.

*Beam of Vessel may affect slip rate when extending over half the width of slip.

Required: Copy of current registration (USCG/CF/state); Proof of Insurance with Seaforth Marina listed as additionally insured ($500,000); Copy of Drivers License.
NOTE: VESSELS OLDER THAN 2000 MAY REQUIRE A CURRENT SURVEY .

NO LIVE-ABOARDS - Excessive usage fee of $250/person/month.

NO COMMERCIALIZATION OF SLIP/VESSEL - without agreed upon contract with the marina.

NOTE: Vessels that are 10-days late in payment will incur a fee of 10% per month on the total balance due. After 60 days, vessel will be subject to a lien being filed. Along with the lien, you will be responsible for any fees applied to the vessel from the lien, City of San Diego, Coast Guard, and late fees applied by the Marina. If you have any questions, please refer to your Maritime Contract for Private Wharfage (Marina Lease) section 7. If you need to see a copy of your lease, feel free to stop into the office.

REQUIRED

Copy of current vessel registration and/or documentation or a copy of the bill of sale.
Copy of certificate of insurance naming Seaforth Marina as additionally insured and showing $500,000 liability coverage.
Copy of current color photo of the vessel.
Boats older than 20 years must have a survey completed within the last 24 months.
Credit report may be required for all applicants and will be run by our office staff.
Dockmaster inspection of vessel upon arrival.
Slip rental agreements (MARITIME CONTRACT) will be executed when all required documents are received and upon marina management approval prior to arrival.

MARINA POLICIES

A deposit in the amount equal to 2-months projected rent is required with slip application.
Deposit will be refunded, less any fees due, at the time of departure.
First month's rent is prorated from the date of move-in to the end of the first month.
Monthly rent is due on the first day of every month thereafter, regardless if an invoice was received.
A 10% late charge is applied to balance due after the 10th of the month.
Marina access FOB (returnable deposit) is $30.
A written vacate notice must be received 30 days prior to vacating.

We are not accepting applications for live-aboard status or AirBnb.
