The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (Sea Cadets) is
the Navy’s youth development program.
We give young Americans skills, knowledge, and confidence through an amazing variety of training opportunities. Sea Cadets wear uniforms, work as teams in a disciplined environment, and adhere to our core values of honor, respect, commitment, and service.
BELOIT DIVISION
The Beloit Division is a local chapter of the Sea Cadet program serving the Janesville and Beloit area of Wisconsin. National headquarters commissioned the unit in August 2025 and appointed LT Brett Overhauser as the Commanding Officer. After securing a drill location at Black Hawk Technical College in Janesville WI work began on recruiting staff and cadets. The first cadets joined the unit in November. We are working to grow the unit and welcome any one interested in joining either as a cadet or adult staff to reach out.
