The intent behind one’s engagement with miniature is often thought of as a hobby, a frivolous activity to be done in spare time as an escape from real work. Artists who practice miniaturisation in any form have a deep-rooted ‘intent’ apart from the aspect of fun and fascination. The act of making enables production rather than consumption solely.
