Site location and context:

The site of study is the area near Kandivali Railway Station [West] which lies on the western railway line of the Mumbai suburban region. It is located 1.18 km west from the Poisar Metro Station which is on the Western Express Highway and 1.79 km east from the Dahanukarwadi Metro Station on the New Link Road.
