This design exercise aimed to provide us a detailed understanding of the system and material through analysis and strategic planning of relevant systemic and material responses. It was to train us(Students) to collect data, organise field-work, sharpening our sense of the field and condition analysis.
The aim was to map the village that we visited (Mategaon):
Routines of everyday life - daily, monthly, seasonly etc.
Cultural practices and objects- specfic practices, food, myths etc.

After the analysis, we started establishing the relationship between socio-economic conditions and built form and exploring the idea of home, workspace, liesure space etc.
