THE DIMENSIONING AND CONFIGURATION OF THE INTERIOR OF THE CLASSROOM

THE INITIAL ARRANGEMENT OF THE UNITS ON SITE, AS THE VILLAGE HAD CURVED BUT LINEAR ARRANGEMENT OF THE HOUSES, HAVING A ROAD BETWEEN THE STEPPED UP AND STEPPED DOWN HOUSES. THE GAPS IN BETWEEN THE CLASSROOMS AS SEEN IN HOUSES, WERE ACCESS PATHS FOR THE VILLAGE ROAD AND THE IN BETWEEN COURTYARDS.
AFTER MULTIPLE ARRANGEMENTS, I GOT THIS ARRANGEMENT WHICH EFFICIENTLY WORKS IN TERMS OF ACCESS, IN BETWEEN SPACES, CONTOURS AND VERANDAHS. THE OPEN SPACE WITH NO MASSES BECOMES THE OPEN GROUND USED AS PLAYGROUND AND GATHERING SPACE FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS. STAGGERINFG OF CLASSROOM ENABLES A COMMON PARTITION WALL AS SEEN IN SETTLEMENT HOUSES.
