On March 28th, our FFA chapter had our annual banquet to recognize our FFA members and people in our community!

A true advocate for his students, Alex Rodgers of Southeast Warren High School has been recognized as a 2025 Golden Owl Award Finalist! 🎉 His passion for agricultural education, commitment to leadership development, and hands-on approach have helped grow the SE Warren FFA chapter and provide life-changing opportunities for students.
From fundraising to build a school barn for students without farm space to mentoring and inspiring future leaders, Alex goes above and beyond. Out of over 570 nominations statewide, he is one of just seven educators selected for this prestigious honor!
Alex now has a chance to be named Iowa’s Agricultural Educator of the Year and win a $3,000 grand prize! Help us celebrate his incredible impact!

This committee is a member favorite! They get to learn new skills with communication and patince, and being able to step out their comfort zone!
Iowa Ag Expo
On February 4th, we took 23 students to the Iowa Ag Expo at the Iowa Events Center to look at some of the new agricultural technologies.
Legislative Symposium
On January 22nd, we took 6 members to the Legislative Symposium at the Capitol Building and had the great opportunity to speak with Iowa State Representatives!
