Care Solace

For further mental health support, SDUHSD partners with CareSolace, a confidential online resource with a live 24X7 concierge line (888) 515-0595 meant to assist individuals in finding local mental health-related programs and counseling services. To use Care Solace, individuals answer ten basic questions in order to receive an extensive list of referrals to applicable care providers. Care Solace takes into account all types of private insurance including Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and Medicare and those that have no insurance. The system also filters by age, gender, zip code, and special request. Care Solace is available for use by San Dieguito families at no cost. Care Solace does not require a user’s name, address, phone number, or date of birth. All of the information that is entered on their platform is completely confidential and stored securely.

School district staff and families may access Care Solace services in two ways:

1. Call (888) 515-0595 or email weserve@caresolace.org to speak with someone from the Care Concierge team.

2. Visit your district’s link at caresolace.com/sduhsdfamilies

Behavioral Health Apps for Kids and Teens

Multilingual https://www.calhope.org/

The Department of Health Care Services recently launched two free behavioral health services applications -

Available regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status, the web and app-based platforms offer free one-on-one support with live coaches, a library of multimedia resources, wellness exercises, and peer communities.

Trained professionals monitor app usage to identify potential risks, licensed behavioral health professionals are on standby to intervene if clinically appropriate, and the apps can connect users to crisis or emergency services when needed. Both apps also have strict privacy and confidentiality requirements.
