Your works cited page, sometimes called a bibliography, tells your reader where you got your information. It is an alphabetical list of sources that comes after the last page of your essay.
To format your works cited page:
Start on the first blank page after the last page of your essay.
The header at the top should have your last name and the page number in the upper right (continued on from your essay—for example if your essay finishes on page three, your works cited page will be page four).
On the first line of the page, put "Works Cited," and center it.
List your sources in alphabetical order by author's last name. If there is no author listed, use the first word of the entry instead.
If any of your sources take up more than one line, every line after the first one should be indented half an inch (press the tab key once).
Entire page should be double spaced, and in a legible font (like Times New Roman). Don't skip lines between entries, or between the title and the first entry.
