Ms. Dekker's syllabus
Welcome to Support class! I look forward to working with you this year. In the Academic Support class, we will be focusing on lessons to develop study skills, writing, editing, reading and math skills. We will also work on IEP goals.

*Cell phones and other electronic devices are to be turned off during class. You may not take pictures, video or recordings in class at any time. There may be times that you are given the option to use electronic devices during independent work time. This is up to teacher discretion. You may not share other students’ electronic devices.
Grading Policy
Your grade will be computed based on the following:
Bell Ringers, Organization, Readworks, No Redink, and Classwork/Projects
Supplies
- Bring your agenda to class filled out for the day.
- Bring binders and work from your other classes each time we meet.
- Optional Supplies
- Loose leaf notebook paper (8 ½ x 11)
- Pencils, black/blue ink pens, erasers, colored pencils or markers
Homework Policy
Homework will not be given in this class. I expect you to be working on the homework from your other classes, filling out your agenda, and keeping your binders organized.
Proper Heading to be used on all class work assignments:
To be placed in the upper right corner – First and last name, Period, and Date
The assignment title goes on the top line.

Hall Passes
You will be asked to sign in and out when you use the restroom during class on a clipboard at the front of the room.
